Compassion with Equanimity - 9 minutes
Equanimity gives us the emotional space to be compassionate while remaining in connection with others—engaging fully, but understanding the limits of our capacity to control the outcome of our actions.
RAIN can help us begin to engage with challenging emotions with more awareness and openness. RAIN encourages transformation of these emotions. Over time, there is the possibility of a deeper wisdom and understanding of ourselves.
The Self-Compassion Break for Shame connects shame to the three components of self-compassion and the three paradoxes of shame in the hopes that we can begin to meet feelings of shame in a more adaptive and healthy way.
